Sonam Wangchuk’s Request to Authorities to join the Parliament Protest  

The activist Sonam Wangchuk, who has been on a hunger strike for the last 21 days, wrote a letter to Saftarjung Hospital. He requested that the authorities allow him to be released from the hospital for a few hours to join the CJP protest in Parliament.

He has written a note. “This is the state that I am feeling very fine today, and my health parameters are showing quite normal. Hence, I request to kindly allow me to leave the hospital, even if temporarily so that I can join the march to the parliament. I shall be most grateful.”   

Abhijeet Dipke Ends Hunger strike 

The CJP founder, Abhijeet Dipke, withdrew his indefinite fast at the request of the activist Sonam Wangchuk, who was starting the hunger strike in place of Sonam Wangchuk, who was removed from the hunger strike at Jantar Mantar.

The health minister meets with the CJP  

The representatives Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka left the protest to meet the union health minister, J.P. Nadda.

Saurav Das shared a post on X that said, ‘It’s 11:52 AM. Ashutosh Ranka and I, on behalf of the Cockroach Janata Party, are on our way to meet J.P. Nadda. The government had reached out for talks in the morning. Our demands are clear. The youth have gathered in huge numbers. We shall win!” Das wrote.

Health Minister JP Nadda: CJP Pressed the Protester to End the Movement

After meeting with the CJP representative, Health Minister JP Nadda pressed the protester to end the movement. He wrote on the X in Hindi: In the morning the protester holds the talk with the government; our discussion has been going on since 11:50 AM. In the meeting held in the warm atmosphere, we had a detailed discussion and delegation at around 4 PM; they submitted a written memorandum outlining their demands. I appealed to all protesters to end their sit-in and cooperate with the administration in restoring normalcy.”
