
In Delhi (Vasant Kunj), Southwest area of Rajokari Pahadia: A man was killed by his own brother at their home during a domestic quarrel on 31st June. His family immediately took him to Safdarjung Hospital. Officials said, “During treatment, he could not survive.”
Police stated that PCR called them and informed them about the event. When the police reached the murder location, his family had already taken him to Safdarjung Hospital.
Police discovered that the elder brother, “Roop Singh Alias Kalia,” is an unemployed man and indulges in intoxicants.
When his younger brother Om Prakesh persuaded him to do some work, he became furious. The argument soon turned violent, and then Roop Singh Alias Kalia, the alleged assailant, stabbed his younger brother, Om Prakesh.
Officers initially registered this case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita section 109 for attempted murder; they were allegedly arrested during the investigation.
Police also discovered and seized a knife used in the crime. According to the police, the arrested man has multiple criminal records. On Thursday, the victim lost his life during medical treatment. The police imposed a section 103(1) replacement on section 109(1)
Punishment for Murder as per the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita
Under Section 109 in Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita :

Under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita addresses a strict punishment for murder in Section 103, which applies to a person who attempts to murder, has to face the death penalty or life imprisonment.
