Government School Announced Second Chance: Classes 10 and 12 for Admission Under “CTA” 

The Delhi government schools will open the application form for the second round to classes 10 and 12. Admission is conducted through the Common Admission Test (CTA).

The Directorate of Education said, “The second phase of admission is for those students who were unsuccessful in getting admission in the first round or are waiting for admission through the department.

As per the notified schedule, the application forms will be available from Friday, and the closing date for forms will be 25 July 2026.

As per the circular, the received application forms from schools must be submitted to the respective district deputy director of education by 27 July.

The admit card would be issued on 31 July at schools where candidates submitted their application forms.

The exam results are expected to be announced on 5 August. Subsequently, the district deputy director of education must be assigned to a school to qualified students according to the available vacancies, subject combinations, and applicants’ residences.

The DOP declared that only students of Delhi residents are entitled to these vacancies.

For 10th-class admission, applicants must be qualified 9th-class students from regular schooling who have completed the previous academic year in a recognised school.

Those who applied for the 12th class. They have to complete their schooling at a recognised school.

The directorate further said that the principal would verify the applicants’ eligibility criteria, then refer them to the district DDE and nodal officer to issue an admit card.
