On Wednesday the India Meteorological Department said that most parts of Delhi-NCR faced rainfall and cloudy skies, gusty winds, and thunderstorms. The weather department confirmed that rain is expected in two phases: the first from early morning to noon and the second from evening into the night.
As per the India Meteorological Department, there will be a cloudy sky throughout the day, but a few areas could face light to light rain, and other areas could face moderate rain. Meanwhile, IMD confirmed winds of 20-30 km/h, gusty winds of 40 km/h, and lightning and thunderstorms.
The weather department released the temperature in Delhi, which is expected to be a maximum of 31 to 33 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 24 to 26 degrees Celsius. Both temperatures are likely to stay below the seasonal average
Meanwhile, Delhi International Airport said the weather had not affected flight operations, with all services continuing as scheduled. In its advisory, the airport also referred to the IMD’s forecast for the day.
Some areas of Delhi, Safdarjung, Sangam Vihar, and central Delhi faced waterlogging problems. As per the data released by the Central Pollution Control Board, it showed that Delhi’s air quality index was 65 at 9 A.M., indicating that the city’s air quality remained in the satisfactory category.
