In Mayur Vihar Phase 3 on Sunday night, a group of offenders assaulted several residents. Alleged offenders harassed a woman.
Around 10 to 15 people were injured, including a 10-year-old kid who was admitted to the ICU in serious condition
Around 9:30 PM, CCTV footage revealed a group of people running towards the area and throwing a stone at the local resident, and one of the accused was holding a wooden stick in their hands as well.

Eyewitnesses said around ten to fifteen unknown people entered the residential society and accused people of assaulting a young woman in the society. The trouble erupted when the society people raised their voices against the accused; after that, they created a panic and attacked the residents.
As per the local people who confronted the media, the accused returned to the residential society again; apparently, they caused trouble across the society. Eyewitnesses said a group attacked several people who happened to be in their path, triggering a riot and chaos across a neighborhood.
According to the local residents of Mayur Vihar Phase 3, they said four to five people were seriously injured, and a 10-year-old boy was also injured and was admitted to the ICU in serious condition
The 10-year-old boy’s elder sister told NDTV about the whole scenario: “My younger brother went with our cousin. They had gone to take some photographs. After that, my brother was attacked by the accused; they threw a stone from behind, striking him on the head. We took him urgently to the hospital; the doctor immediately admitted him and said he was critically injured and had developed a blood clot.
The victim’s sister stated the accused was holding a stone and sticks. The other person had a huge stone in their hand, and they were also wielding a wooden stick that had a nail in it.
Through this incident, all the residents are getting frightened; they said the whole incident was captured on CCTV footage.
Police have started their investigation, scanning the CCTV footage and gathering information from the local residents to identify the accused people. Police said further action will be taken based on a finding in an investigation.
